Interview with Ajahn Brahm in Buddhismus Aktuell
The July issue of Buddhismus Aktuell is dedicated to Gender issues in Buddhism and also includes the interview that Ajahn Brahm gave about this topic during his visit to Hamburg in October 2014. The title of the article is “Es geht ums Mitgefühl” (“It’s all about Empathy”).
Theravada Bhikkhuni ordinations
Two Bhikkhuni ordinations in the Theravada tradition took place on the 21st June 2015.
One German Samaneri has ordained as Bhikkhuni in Anenja Vihara in Germany and two Samaneris from Santi Forest Monastery in Australia have ordained in Yogyakarta.
We herewith congratulate the new Bhikkhunis and wish them well for the future.
